I posted a thread earlier but i guess this is the best way to put it.
My stock radio pounded in this car i took it out and put a brand new 2009 model sony cd player in and it sounds like crap! I was told it is because of something to with the stock amp. How do i bypass this amp?

I think you will have to bypass the original wiring....I think.
Did the radio have the EQ?
I'm sure when mine was put in everything was wired independent of the original wiring cause there is a Bose amp in the trunk and it was just easier to run new wire.
 
It had just the basic eq on the radio itself the three knobs. I think im just gonna have to run new wires i was hoping there was a way around it, but thanks anyways.
