Stock scaled maf v.s. a larger maf

I am out flowing my stock maf with my current setup. Is there a difference in performance between scaling the stock maf or running a larger one?

With your mods your going to have to scale the larger maf eventually, So you might as well save the money and scale the stocker.

You could talk to ZZP and get them to modify a stock 97 throttle body so that you can use a stock MAF without an AFC and get upwards of 18-20psi.

Im running a ported 72mm 97 throttle body with a 99+ MAF and about 14-15psi without it being maxed (about 2000hz from being maxed)... although Im looking into my setup to make sure that my MAF and everything is reading correctly.

EDIT: Your setup looks pretty beefy. Either way, you could talk to Matt from ZZP and he can set you up with a good setup. Stock or whatever, hes been a big help for me.

Larger stock TB and a stock MAF just seems like the easiest solution if you dont want to mess with your turbo pipes coming from you intercooler and such. I dunno... when I did the setup Ive got I was thinking more along the lines of "less possible leaks and it should work just as well after being tuned".

I bought my turbo kit with the intention of running the LT1 MAF with a 72mm ported stock TB but forgot to tell ZZP to modify the kit and sell me the couplers to hook it up. I didnt feel like cutting it so I just modified my 72mm ported 97 throttle body to take a 99+ MAF.
