stock radio wont turn off

2000 grand prix, with bose if that matters, radio wont turn off at all, can turn off manually but clock stays on and can turn back on without key being in the car, i was thinking it could be the rap module but not sure since it never turns off

anybody have any ideas??

Is this a new condition - or something that has been happening for a while? Has this stereo been replaced recently?

It could be a few things:

Could be the RAP module
Could be a faulty ignition switch
Could have the power lead incorrectly connected to the remote (accessory) power lead

Any other details/symptoms??

just starting happening like 3 days ago

original radio, never played with any wires
retains all functionabilty when car is off
neither door turns it off either, everything else is going good though
 
ha, that works, wasnt sure if it was the HU or some other stupid switch or module

now i have an excuse to shop for a HU now lol
