Stock MAF limitation?

Can't remember or find it. What pulley size/WHP does your stock maf get maxxed out and require you to run a ls1/lq4 style maf or scaler?

Current mods in sig (the bonnie... have to specify which 3800 sc car I have bc I'm nuts..) and its about to get a FSIC and plog/dp or headers and hopefully around a 3.0-3.2 pulley.

Feel free to yell at me if I didn't search enough and was lazy.. :-P

Like 11,500hz is the max.

I don't think you need a larger maf with only going to a 3.2. But you'd have to run it and see if you are going to outlfow the MAF sensor.

Hm Ok. Can you view that with tq? I know right now I'm hitting around 250-280 g/s on the maf with a dial on the torque app, I'll have to change it so i can see if i can see freq.

I believe you can view it with the torque app, havent messed with it in ages though.

You'll be fine on a stock MAF with the 3.2/3.0 any smaller and you'll want to start looking for other options.

Running the mods in my sig, MAF still has some ceiling room

Add custom PID with torque to read it in hz.

PID HEX 221250
Min value 0.0
Max value 11500.0
Scale factor x1
Unit type hrz
Equation ((A<8) + B)/2.048

Thanks! Also, theoretically speaking if someone had a ported gen 3 on a top swap and were to instal an fsic before any exhaust mods... Could they run smaller than a 3.4 or is that already pushing it? You know... Hypothetically.
