Stock Alarm System

When my alarm is set at any given time, it will randomly go off. So at 3 am it honks about 5 times and then goes back off. Any answers to my problem?

I posted this answer in another area and I will put it here to. As a GM Service Advisor for 15 years, the most common culprit is a door switch. Be it deck lid, hood, door or other opening area that has a trigger switch, they get dirty or defective and cause the alarm to "think" there is an intrusion. The alarm will sound from the tiniest voltage drop that may be from just wind on a door or bird on the hood etc. Once the motion is gone, the system resets. Remove each sensor and tape the wires. Do this one at a time and test for a week each. Once you no longer have the issue, you have found the defective switch. You can try cleaning with a non residual Brake Cleaner, but replacement is usually the best way. A very common issue, trust me! :)
