Stiffer Suspension and aftermarket feel HELP

A buddy of mine had a older grand prix when he sold it he gave me to round disc about the size of a top off a soda can that would fit on the top of the strut tower under the bolt. Well when I went to install them on my 04 grand prix I couldnt find them in my garage... He said they where a gm part.. they where from the frame or something it was supposed to give my car a stiffer ride and more of a aftermarket feel.. If anyone knows what that could be please help me out......

That is excatly what I was looking for... Thank you.. Do you know if they realy do much or would I be better off to just get new springs?
 
Anti-pogo washers won't do much at all. And if you don't have aftermarket springs, they won't do anything. If you have stock springs, don't worry about them.
