okay I recently bought a 98 GP GT, well I drove it home and it's security light blinking at me the whole way and everytime I start it. Well when I got home I realized that the key cylinder does't go all the way back it shuts the car off. Also I was able to pull the key the first time so I didnt think anything of it. So I tried to start it without the key and sure enough it starts.
So my question is what is the problem, is it the cylinder or is it the park position thing behind the ignition. Also my key fob wont work even with new batteries Im thinking its because the key isnt all the way to the right position.
If there is a thread Im sorry I search and didnt come up with an answer.
