starts, stalls, starts again and runs fine?

This issue has persisted since I've owned the car and it's intermittent. The car will sometimes start and run just fine the first time. Other times it will start, rpms will hop up and down a split second and smooth out, and sometimes it will just flat out start, then stall, then start up and run.

My crank sensor died so YAY I thought it was that - nope. MAF is brand new. FPR is new. Plugs, wires, fuel filter - all new. Cleaned IAC and TB.

So what could it be? Ignition coil? fuel pump check valve? fuel injectors? Car runs and shifts just fine though. Lots of power.

it started and stalled last week, but came back to life. fuse melted down full today i guess.

it was surging on cold start up during the very short high idle this time of year on a cold start. that seems to have stopped too.

you can also try the high speed bypass trick on the relay.
 
I have a riviera with a very slight leak in the gas line. If it sits longer than a half hour starts and runs rough, stalls. If i prime it twice, with key, starts right up. Just a suggestion. Im fixing the riviera by swapping the l67 into a better car. Haha
 


IAC. I saw that you said you cleaned it, but I've changed a few of those.
Start/stall on a 3800, or bad initial idle, it's first place I am looking. 18 Canadian Pesos <lol AvE> new last time I bought one. Or if budget issues demand, JY part for a diagnosis. Hell, swap the one in from Grandma's LeSabre just to troubleshoot it.
