• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

First off let me apologize, im new to the gtp world and don't want to start driving everyone crazy with my posts. With that said...
I just picked up a 2000 gtp and when i start it in the morning the car initially starts fine and runs good. After a min or 2 the rpm goes up and it is clearly missing/sputtering and eventually stalls. This usually happens for 2 start cycles, once it warms up the car runs fine. When i got the car it was throwing 2 fan codes so i reset the DTC's so I haven't driven it yet because Ive yet to register it, so i don't know if it will throw codes after driving.

I'm trying to eliminate this issue before i register it seeing as i will have to go through emissions. I did just pick up a code scanner with live reading but haven't looked into it yet. I was wondering if there were some things i could do upfront to try and eliminate this cold start issue.

Thanks for the help and Ive been searching the forums for answers but am not coming up with much.

tune up.

Do some new plugs, wires, pcv valve, clean the maf with maf cleaner, clean the throttle body to remove carbon build up.

Do those if you havent already to make the car run great.
