Stalling Grand Prix?

I have a 1995 Grand Prix and I adore the car. The only issue I tend to have with it is that it stalls whenever I try to initially start it. The only way to get it started is if I pump the gas peddle and then it starts right up. I noticed too when I am driving it it putts when I accelerate. Im going to buy fuel injector cleaner tomorrow but if that doesnt work I could use help to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks :confused:
