SSIC core opened up; saw pics somewhere???

I recall once seeing pictures of the inside of a ZZP SSIC core opened up (that is, with the plates separated and the corte taken out)

I can't remember what forum it was on...maybe this one?

Anyway, anyone seen (or have) said pics?

You talking about the actual core cut open? Like in half? Or just taken out?

i did have some pictures at one point before i sold my SSIC. not sure that i have them anymore though.

Yeah, I do mean taken apart, as in the two halves separated.

Bio, if you could find those pics that would be great.

EDIT: if you can't find them, maybe you could answer this...how is the hose attached? From pics of an assmbled SSIC core, it looks like the hose actually enters the shell.

yep. the hoses are put onto the heater core and then sealed into the plates. if you seal it without the hoses in then youll have to take it back apart and do it again or it will have a vacuum leak. here are the pictures i found of the one i had:
