srs airbag

my "srs airbag" light comes on and off intermittently almost like every other time i start the car, most of the time at night it works. anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

i have a 98 gp se and have the same thing happen. also my brake light does the same thing. i hope someone replies with some help.

The light comes on and stays on or comes on for three to maybe five seconds and then goes out?

its a 98 gp gt, the light blinks for roughly 7-8 times and then stays on most of the time.on the times its not displaying the message it blinks like 3 times and then disappears.
