Squeaky Steering Wheel

I purchased an 04 Grand Prix GT2 around March. Once it started to warm up outside I noticed my steering wheel squeaking on low speed turns. After searching several forums I thought that I should lube my ISS. Before I made it that far I had to take her in because of clunking over bumps being felt up into the steering wheel and they changed the ISS. From what I understand there was a service announcement to update the ISS and the new model that was just installed does not require being greased. So my question is, why is my steering wheel still squeaking??
 


Perhaps your steering wheel shroud isn't aligned properly, causing it to rub on the back of the steering wheel.?

I had the same problem on my 06 GT. I had a warranty and they ended up changing the "spring" and not the shaft. I would have to look back at the receipts to see what they actually did, but that is what the tech told me. I never bothered to figure out what it was since I had just bought the car. Took it in and a few hours later, no more squeek.
 
only spring would be the clock spring, its for the airbag and radio controls on the wheels. i could see it making some noise. not hard to change either.
 
I appreciate the suggestions everyone. When I asked the guy at the shop he said that he is not sure why it squeaks, his car does that too and not sure how to make it stop. Great help huh? Any idea where the clockspring is located? Reason I ask is because for one the cost of the part, and secondly where the squeak seems to be coming from is behind the steering wheel where it attaches to the steering column.
 
take the airbag off, then the wheel, its looking right at you. theres a ring clip holding it on the column shaft. so its right under the wheel.
 


Any idea if it is repairable instead of replacing it? The cheapest replacement I found online was about $150.
