• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Spring rate trade offs

That makes me things. A lot of the older RWD cars have cross braces behind the backseat to provide structural support and prevent body flex and roll. That could be a possibility.

Not only older RWD cars...but my mid 80's Century had a single brace that was inbetween the trunk carpet and the backseat...

Likewise, I don't seeing strut tower braces doing much of anything compared to something way stronger like that.

The issue for me is.. My bonne had those braces you speak of...as do most of the W bodies pre folding seats. I'm unwilling to give up that fold down rear seat.

Like me, if you don't use the fold down seats that often...I'm sure it would be a great option...just weld something up...

Maybe I'll try it on the silver one, when I gut it to sin?

Ha.

im sure you can make a nice little cage setup similar to this in our car:

this is from a local who made his SVT contour a legit awesome track car. my face almost ripped off when he stomped on the brakes. of course you would have to cut out the panel between the seats and trunk, but who cares once youre going that far with it (i hope to).

its a pretty awesome car. i hope to work with him when i am working on the wbody next year. he is a great fabricator.

You need better LCA's too, gotta get rid of that front rubber mount

I say 350f/300r.

And don't order from ZZP, order direct from Held.

Well I'm unsure of how to handle the strut side of this.

Use HD's? Cut or no cut? Get AGX's?

I think AGX's would be a step down at this point.

Will contact Held and see what they have to say about it.

Looks I couldnt be bothered with, I enjoy the beat up look of this car.

Its the handling improvement I'm after.
