• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Spotted this on dip your Car forums. Thoughts?

Plastidipped Grand Prix

actually doesnt look bad, agreed on different wheels and needing moar low but being a coupe kinda sets it off

Has anyone ever used this? Do you have to prep the car and tape it off like a normal paint job or can you just peel the dip off the parts you don't want painted?--Score the dip around the windshield or something with a special non sharp tool. That car looks pretty good. I went on the website and those looked good as well. Do you have to take the doors off and hood, etc and do them separately? Does it run?

You do not have to do anything except clean what you want to dip :th_winking: but put on thick it takes a can for each wheel if you get it too thin it will be hard to peal off. I have over 2000 miles on my rims and still waiting for it to peal off so far so good, I drove from Atlanta to ohio and back rims still look like the day I did them. But I did some on the side lights and it pealed off on the way back. wind will remove it if there is a edge also I tried to make a design with tape but had to use a knife to get a straight edge I could not peal it off the tape and leave a good edge. It is easy to see if you want black rims or part of the rim black but it is only dull black the shine they sell does not make it very shiny.

Hey, thanks. If I was going to do it I was going to buy the sprayer and a gallon for like 230 on the website for the whole car.
