speed sensors or new hubs?

just another thing to fix here. ive had the abs/traction control lights on for a bit now and when doing ball joints, noticed the wires on the hub side are broke right at the connector - both right and left side. the hubs arent that old- maybe 20k miles on timkins.
is it possible to replace just the sensor on a base '08?
i could cut out the connector and splice but since both wires are hub side are black, im not sure if i can cross em up.
id rather just replace the sensor if thats possible

If it is at the connector where the body harness connects to the hub harness, then yes.

If it is damaged right at the hub where it disappears into the backside of the hub then no.

Just note which wire goes to which pin. Put a color stripe on one and a matching one on the plug. Problem solved.

both sides are at the connector. the pass. side- both wires broke.

is there a way to tell which wire goes to which?
