I'm looking at getting these and i notice they always says for supercharged 3.8, sometimes it says only.

Does that really matter?? i've heard people putting them on the n/a engines so i dont think it does.

But i just want to double check

i know i know, i thought about that 5 min. after i posted it.

but sometimes noboday pays attention in the chat and they never answer so, oh well.

whats your cleanretrofitting thing about, do you take stock headlights and put projectors in them??

Pretty much, retrofit Morimoto bi-xenon projectors into the stock headlights for 97-03 gps.

Bio, Matt, or Blue usually always answer people in chat, very rarely have I seen a question go unanswered there.:th_laugh-lol2:

how much are the retro fits?? and can you use the blacked out headlight housings that are on ebay?

Pricing is in the vendor fourm at the bottom of the GPF homepage, yes you can use whatever headlight you want from the 97-03 I've used black housed lights but have no problem painting housings a flat black also.

so is there anything else i need to install the speed daddy headers, i mean it looks like everything is in the kit ready to get put on the car

Everyone says you need some copper spray and new band clamps to make them seal. New gaskets probably wouldnt hurt either.

I think Ive seen people say to use the existing gasket if its still good because the ones you get with the headers are junk.

so manifold gaskets and band clamps. doesnt sound too bad, how many band clamps do i need and can i get them from autozone?

also are the gaskets and clamps that come with the headers that bad? could i just use some exhaust sealant around where the clamps go to help?

Like stated.

Use the factory manifold gaskets that matte to the heads. As for the rest of the exhaust...I RTV all the slip fit joints just to be sure...high temp red or copper...it all works. I also used all the clamps from the Speed Daddy kit. I don't care to remove exhaust parts as much as the other person. The V-Band they do give you for the downpipe is pretty boss...I wish they did that for the entire kit. I did however go to an auto parts store to get a OEM DP to catback gasket...part number...31524? IIRC...can't remember.

ok cool, so basically i can just clean up the stock gaskets and reuse them, i havent really gone through the box yet, is there a diagram as to what clamp goes where?

and whats the deal with the O2 sensor in the back manifold? i noticed its on the side where as the stock one is on top. Am i going to have a problem there?

and RTV?????? like the rubber gasket RTV stuff? really? just like put that on the end of the pipe before i put it together and put the clamp on it?

well see heres the thing, the engine is getting built outside of the car and then the engine and trans are going to get put back in the car together from the bottom. so everything will be in its place i was just wondering about that O2 sensor.

I think with installing everything together from the bottom i shouldn't run into too many problems.

I'm more worried about getting all the right connections together and in the right spot with using the l26 intake
