Spectre air filter or no?

Ok so tomorrow I plan on starting my cold air intake build I am woundering if someone can give me some isite on the spectre air filters are they any good they sell them at my local autozone and that's what I was planing on using but from what I gatherd from reading other post it is inportant to get a good filter I don't was kill my motor I have a gt 3800 series 2 thanks for any help I can get
