• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Sparkplug non-foulers, Oxygen sensor

I have used these before on oxygen sensors. I am trying to use it on an Alero oxygen sensor. The sensor threads into the exhaust fine as well as the non-fouler. But the oxygen sensor will not screw onto the De-fouler. Which I think is weird.

Maybe they are threaded the same? I wonder if I could hammer it on past the first thread, and it would work?

Make sure that the sensor is not hitting inside the non-fouler. Stopping it from threading on...or you may need one that has a longer non-threaded spout

Did you drill out the non fouler? I had to use two on my post-cat o2. Drill out one with a 1/2" bit and screw the o2 into that one, screw that assembly into the other non fouler, and pop that whole assembly into the hole.

It works very well, I've had a high flow cat for two months now and no codes have been thrown.

Yes I drilled it. It was hitting the inside of the non-fouler, the new oxygen sensor's tip was longer than the older oxygen sensor. I will need an extended one for it to work.
