Since i joined here i only see the stories about the grand prixs winning. So i'll share a different one. When i bought my Cummins a while back My buddy and i took my wifes grand prix to oklahoma to get it and he drove her car home. Well we somehow:th_biggrin2: got next to each other at a stop light and He put it down first roasting the tires getting a little jump on me cause of my turbo lag(no i didn't boost launch) And then I hit it and she wound up and took off. Past him by the time i hit second and i looked back and could barely see the headlights through the cloud of black smoke! It was funny. But i also love whoopin a$$ on rice burners with the car seat in the back of the GP.

I'm assuming the GP is a GTP? I know a well tuned 2500 turbo diesel can run almost a full 1.5 seconds faster than a stock GTP so it wouldn't surprise me with that outcome.
 
nope just a stock gt, but my truck was stock except for a 65hp towing chip. I was impressed considering it weighs twice as much as the car.
 
Those damn trucks haul ballz for sure...I don't underestimate them even in my car when I see the Cummins/Powerstroke/Duramax emblems...
 
When you're riding in them it doesn't feel fast (just like when I went from the Camaro to my GTP) but when you see that needle flying it's impressive.
