I have a 99 GTP and I think my hood release cable has stretched - the "bead" at the latch doesn't sit against the arm like I assume it should so you can't get enough pull to open the hood. I put a spacer in to fill the gap so it works but I want to replace the cable.
Anyone sourced one recently? You can get a 93-96 or 04-08 one cheap from Dormon for <$15. Something weird about this generation that they didn't make one? Dealer wants $45. That pretty much my only option other than a junkyard piece?
