• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Soo it's been a while

I know it's been forever since I've been on and I'll update y'all on a couple things. First, I no longer have the Grand Prix, I sold it for $3500 after I found out the frame was bent to some kid. After I sold it I went and bought a 1999 F-150 Ext cab with the 5.4L and had 230k miles on it and drove like a dream. I shortly after buying that realized how much it was going to cost in gas so I traded it in for what I own now.
I purchased a 1998 Ford Mustang GT with 85,XXX original miles on it. It's in excellent condition, runs like a brand new car and has a little work but just enough.
Has a tune, 3.73 gears, and a 3 chamber Flowmaster exhaust. Here's some pictures and a video.

We already knew you were both special... ed! ROFLMAO

Update the Videoz b4 moar goes crazey!!! :th_hammerhead2:

:P I love it! Sometimes I'll just be sitting at a light and give it a few revs just to feel the body of the car twist

Lol Slowpoke only time I do it is when I'm sitting at the light alone lol.
and apparently I don't have permission to view that thread.

Dump the 3.73's and go to 4.10's. Stick some shortie headers on it, X-pipe, exhaust, pullies and a PI intake/cam swap. Should get you into the low 13's. If you want more check out Modularheadshop - MHS for some goodies. Nick McKinney and crew have spent some good time getting the modular heads down pat and I'd recommend them to anyone. Been eyeing a set of heads for my Vic now that it's paid for, lol.. I'm sure the wife wouldn't mind :th_biggrin2:

Eh 4.10's are not something I need in my car. Granted they are great gears but I do alot of highway driving and driving at 3500-4k all the time won't be healthy in the long run. Even though the Modular 4.6's LOVE high rpms I just couldn't test my luck.

Don't fear the gear! Lulz, honestly though, you wouldn't see that high of an rpm at 70 in 5th with 4.10's. More like 2500/2600 rpm's. And of course your mpg's will go down a little bit. Really, the only people who shouldn't go with 4.10's are people who are really obsessed with mpg's, and do a BUNCH of highway miles, or people who plan on F/I at some point down the road. A lot of mustang owners who choose 3.73's wish they had gone with 4.10's after the fact, not so much the other way around.
