Sony Xplod 6x9 3-way rear speaker installation problem

Hello everyone. I have a 2001 GTP, and I am trying to install sony speakers in the rear, but not having any luck. Do I need to order an adapter, or should I be using the stock speaker mount that was used with the original speakers? Any help or pics (especially if you are using these speakers on your car) would be appreciated.
 


Should be using the same brackets and stuff. Just a replacement of speakers so you shouldn't be cutting or anything... Also Sony isn't great should spring for something better
