• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Something's up with my car...

My car isn't running as smooth as it should be. When I'm doing about 40-60, everything's fine but anything above that causes the car to feel like its driving on rough pavement. Its not a horrible shake but its enough to notice it. I just got the hub bearings replaced back in March which helped alot but something's still not right. My mom said it could be a strut issue...

Also, there must be a coolant leak somewhere because I randomly catch the scent of radiator, usually when I come to a stop. I can also see what looks like steam coming from under the hood. Sometimes its on the passenger side, sometimes from the driver. I've never overheated as the thermometer usually stays in the middle or below that. If it does even get close to the top, it drops as soon as I take off from being idle. I do have to change my coolant almost every 2 and a half weeks though.

Anyone had these experiences before. I know I should take it to a garage or something but I've been screwed over in the past so I's just trying to get some possible theories of what could be happening here before I go up there and pay for something I dont even need.

Have you had the tires balanced? Could be that, or possibly a bad CV joint.

The leaking coolant is probably one (or both) of the black 90* plastic elbows on the pass. side of the car. 1 goes from the belt tensioner to the LIM, the other is hidden behind the tensioner itself. This is a common leaking point. Could also be a hose, etc... Maybe take a look right after you shut it down and see if you can smell coolant or physically see it leaking.
