• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Something major? Minor? Or nothing at all?

Hello. I was looking at my tires this morning, thinking I need new tires ASAP. I turned the wheel to get a good look at the inside. Well I found what looks like a loose plug of some sort. I never seen it before or a mechanic never mentioned anything about it. I recently got my tire rods fixed (praying its not my tire rods). Anyone here able to tell me what this is. Its the passenger tire. The driver side seems to be connected but looks oily and old also.

Anyone have an email that I could send the picture to? For some reason I can't upload the picture here.

here is the link

you can post it via flickr and post the link to it or upload it through this message forum using the advance method and not the quick reply method.

Use Imgur to post pictures

its a abs plug, plug it back on the hub, see the other side for plug location. rather fool proof, wire leads along the lower control arm, then to the hub's plug.

Your CV joint boot is pretty torn. Bit of a mess down there, eh?

I noticed that too . And yes very messy. I had a radiator leak, my rack and pinion was also messed up. (not all at once) I guess it came from everything leaking on the manifold. How can I clean it up?

Looks like the harness for the speed sensor took the hub side out.

Maybe there is enough there to splice it on the hub side?
TC is traction control

Engine degreaser or something like Purple Power, Zep 505, Zep purple degreaser and a parts brush. Hose it down or rinse it with a 1 gallon pump sprayer.
Be careful of the electricals.

OMG yesss abs lights stays on and what is the tc light
"TC" is the Traction Control (located on the DIC, either a "TRAC" or "TCS" button), which is controlled via the ABS. If you have a bad ABS sensor, ABS wiring or wheel bearing, the "TC" and "ABS" lights will be on.
