Something going bad on my engine?!

is it possible if i unbolt the cat and cant get it back on that i could still drive it? i only ask cause lately ive been able to pull things apart and not get them back together.
 


ha ha ha thats funny, its 2 bolts, i dont think you would have a problem bolting it back up, if you do leave it off it will be oh so loud. worst case is if the old bolts break and you need to get new bolts.
 
Am i sposed to take out the bolts where the down pipe connects with the engine or the ones on the other side of the cat?
 
I tried both sets of bolts and they wont budge. the bolts themselves look really rusty and i dont have the tools to get them off. I will just take it to my dads friend who is a mechanic and let him putts around with it.
