Ok so I stumbled upon this listing on ebay.

An amazing 92 Grand prix Richard Petty limited edition. Mint all the way through. Decked out GM car with options never seen like a 2nd gear start switch, presumably for launching better. MY question is the car is listed as the 3.4 dual cam on ebay(which im not a fan of) but the dash says intercooled Turbo. Looking at the engine bay pics theres no Turbo. WTF?

Caught me by surprise with the first link lol

anyways ive never herd of this edition but she sure is beautiful

Very sharp looking car (love the color) but the interior looks like a grandma mobile. Regarding the turbo... I don't know much about those engines but if it has a turbo it would probably be under the air box? I'm sure somebody will know the scoop.

They did make a 3.1l turbo GP in that era. Someone swapped dashes.

I'm familiar with the 3.1 turbo. My thing is, why would someone have a numbered car, so well taken care of, so documented and switch gauge consoles? Its so weird.

My guess is because the cluster had such low mileage, probably a scam / odometer fraud by looking at it a little closer.
