So my keyless entry stopped working... and other questions

Hey everyone. I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT coupe. It's up there in age so I'm having a few minor issues that I need some assistance with.

1. My keyless entry remote stopped working. We took that remote to the dealer, but they said the battery is fine in it. So I'm suspecting that it is the Keyless Entry Reciever. Where is that in this car? I've seen diagrams for it in the last gen GPs, but not in my gen(97-03).

2. It seems that one of the gaskets(I think it was valve cover gasket) is leaking. Is that going to be as an expensive job as I think it is? Is it something that needs to be taken care of right away?

3. I still hate the headlights on the car. I know people were making projector lights for the GP. Are those a big improvement over the crappy stock headlights?

Thanks for any help :)

On my remote the metal "clip" that the battery slides into came partially unconnected from the main board. I resoldered it and it has worked perfect ever since.

Yeah that's happened to all of the GM remotes in my family. I have a locksmith near me that sells keyless entry fobs and also rebuilds them. Not sure if you have any businesses like that.. I'd say it's definitely something to consider. He charged $15 to rebuild it. And when you get it fixed it doesn't need to be reprogrammed.

Also programming a new one there was $5 for no remote start, and with remote start $15.
