• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So much work to do....

but I don't have to do it anymore because someone STOLE the car from right in front of my house early this morning. Best part is that I payed my insurance agent just yesterday to put insurance on it and supposedly he didn't run the paperwork yet so I'm more than likely going to get screwed over in this whole thing, and yeah I have full coverage (well actually I guess I don't).

Do you have any proof or documentation that you paid the agent. It has been a few years, but I worked with a guy in a similar situation. He had to push some, but they ended up covering it because he had paid. It wasn't up to him how long it took his agent or anyone else to get it set up so they agreed he was not responsible for any time lapse.

if anything it will sound like fraud if you just put it on and it got stolen. Just 2 cents from the real world.

so long as you even call the insurance company and tell them you want insurance you're then covered so long as they have the VIN and proof that you called them.

Well my agent sucks, but from what I heard is that it is all on his desk and all that had to happen was that it needed to be pushed through. This all sucks because I was going to be doing the LIM job for it this weekend and then giving it to my little brother next weekend for his 16th birthday. The car has been at my house for the last year and a half and I had been telling him "this'll be yours when you turn 16" and such. I am beyond pissed right now.

Also the car doesnt even have the battery in it since I took it out last night to replace it since the one that was in it was completely dead. So I dont know of many thieves that either A) have a jump pack with them or B) drive around with a truck with a trailer on it.

i called on a weekend, when the office was closed, because i was buying a car on a saturday. i left a voicemail saying all the information necessary and considered myself 'covered'. it's not your problem they weren't there to immediately push your paperwork through and get you a proof of insurance card.

i am with bio, if your info was there you did your part to get covered, its not your fault that they took tehre time, if all else fails, sue em for the lost $

Sounds good. But I guess when my mom tried calling the guy he asked if we had a picture of it at our house yesterday, so looks like he might already try screwing us out of it over "fraud". I mean this guy already screwed my mom out of a basement when it flooded and now he is trying to get us with a car too.

state farm loves me, no issues. Yur agent is a royal d-bag, call state farm headquarters. theyll get it lined out fast.........ovnce again.........FRAUD
