• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So many problems.. where to start?

I bought a 99 GP 159k miles and I've found it has every common problem..

Radiator builds no pressure.. It's leaking somewhere so I suspect the LIM gaskets or upper intake are leaking.

Valve covers leaking.. Need to do when when I do the LIM.

After 10 min of driving the trans goes into P1811 error mode..(hard shifts) so I need to do the shift kit and fluid change.

2 days ago after driving for 15 minutes it just flat died.. I Pulled over and it re-started and ran perfectly.. Suspect Crank sensor.. It has not done it again.

Headlights leaking fogged and crazed..
Taillights leaking too. (po drilled drain holes in them)

HVAC. Only high speed fan.. Will check resistor pack.. DRL is working so I don't think it's the ignition switch

What problem would you tackle first?

Putting it on jackstands. That's where I'd start. From there you can toss in a shift kit and freshen up the fluid. Leave it up a little to keep from bending so far over. Do the LIM gaskets, plug the lim (assuming NA) coolant ports and keep your existing UIM. While that's half apart, zip the valve cover gaskets in there. Freshen up the coolant elbows and if possible pressure test the radiator cap. That'll take care of most issues. Now drop her back onto her feet and address the lighting issues.
