slow prix Vs 5.3 chevy



that truck moves. watch out for those 5.3L. i got yanked by like 3 of them at the track. one was supercharged running high 12's i dont know what the others had. i only beat one of them and i think it was pretty stock and 4wd. they move out pretty good for being trucks
 
I played catch-up to one on the interstate once...those 5.3's can roll out..didnt think I was gonna catch it lol
 
Trucks are highly under estimated...I have a 5.4 in an F-150 and it's quick...The SS Silverado's are a dangerous truck too....Good job holding on though to the win though. Are you s/c?

NO JUST A 3.8 FWI , REPROGRAMMED ECU , UBEND DELETE SOME MINOR EXHAUST WORK THATS IT
 


5.3s are pretty nice my ext cab 03 ran 15.4 with a 2.3 60ft with a k/n and no cats with a single in duel out flowmaster what kills the trucks and suvs the most is torque mangment which sucks ass but good kill

ouch! those 60's need a little work. what kind or tires were you running? most of the trucks out launched me, they plant pretty good.
 
stock street tires and being a 03 with no tune the tm was what was killing my 60ft that truck was good for a 15 flate if i could have got the 60 ft down to a 2.0 thats the worse 60ft i have ever gotting in any of my cars or trucks i have owned i had a 2.0 in trans am with dunlop street tires and also a 2.0 in my gtp i had with street tires
 
yeah thats the grand prix has some glitches to the motor i dont know if its the throttle sensor cuz it pulls but it lags when pulling but last time i ran it couple months back i ran a 15.2 on the gtech i know its not precise but its pretty good for what it has , bone stock at the track i ran a 15.6 , but as the truck its his tires but at the track he ran a 15.1 but peeling out all the way !!
