Slight upgrade

Hello everyone. Ive been thoroughly reading the big bad brake forum and i have a question about the slight upgrade. Will it be ok to just get the 04 gp calipers & rotors for the front of the car and keep the 97 gp calipers & rotors in the back for the moment? Money is tight and im in desperate need of a pad change (had the car for 2 years and never touched them smdh ). Will it make a major effect on how the car stops? I have a 97 gp se btw....i need to get this done. Help is much appreciated....thanks!!

im pretty sure you would need the brackets for the bigger brakes id imagine dont quote me on that

the easiest/cheapest method is 04 monte carlo brake calipers brackets/rotors/pads (pads are same as yours now) and your stock calipers.

Won't make much of a difference, pad choice will make a bigger difference.

Just less likely to cook the rotor.

But I haven't found many on here cook the rotors, just claim to, but no heat cracking.
