Size wrench needed to adjust belt tensioner for accessory belt install?

My brother's serpentine belt popped off on a trip, has no tools on him and needs to go buy the right size wrench. Does anyone know what size wrench is needed to pull the tensioner, so the belt can be slipped on?
 


Thanks guys. He said it began squealing, so I had him check pulleys and he says he didn't notice any wobbly or frozen pulleys. Without checking it out myself, I can't say much more. I want to have him put a new belt on, and see if he can get it to me for inspection.
