Side mirrors??

Does anyone know if its possible to completely disassemble the side mirrors on these cars and how??? Should be about the same as my monte right?? The reason I want to do this is that I want to sandblast through the backing of the mirror and set a red light behind it hooked to the blinker so at night you can see a bowtie and SS light up. Any help would be amazing.
