Ive been on E85 for quite some time but i havent swapped plugs ... Been driving the car for 2 months on E85 and the car has been great on a 2.8 pulley with NO KNOCK afr is 14.7 and about 11.3 at WOT but it bogs somewhat like its misfiring somewhat but no knock or anything whatsoever ... Havent replaced the fuel filter i have a high flow filter which i will install it this weekend. Should i replace the plugs? It feels like its narrowing down to the plugs because the way it feels.. Car has a upgraded pump.. Fuel pump rewire plugs are autolite 104s shoulds i try 103s gap them to 55? thanks

High flow fuel filter is a scam, FYI.

It's a factory GM filter.

Also...after a few tanks of corn, you'll want to change the filter anyways, just for the sake of anything in the tank getting knocked loose. It's a $10~ deal that wouldn't hurt at all.

Scotty I did the dreaded Ford 5.4 spark plug swap for my Grandpa yesterday. Cylinder 8 had a misfire, he wanted to change the coilpack and plug. I bet him money it was just the plug because truck hit 150k WITHOUT ever being changed. After praying every turn of my ratchet, it was free! In one piece!
The iridium was completely gone! Word of advice to everyone change your iridium plugs every 100k or as soon as you can

In a 5.4, remove the plugs every 30-50k to prevent build up on the threads, you don't have to replace them but just remove and clean them.

Yay for getting side tracked.
