• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Should I?

I have 1.9 Y/T roller rockers and was wondering if i should get hydraulic roller lifters to go with them?

If you do and go with comp. Get the OE ones. The other ones make noises. If you can find a set of low milage stock ones go with those. Since they are the exact same.

If you'rs are in good condition then there is no need to get new ones.

I've been considering new stockers, they were apparently redesigned for use with the LS7 and were upgraded in a number of ways. The LS1 guys love them. I'd go that way before going Comp. Cheaper too.

To answer the real question, though, if you're not having problems with your stock lifters, don't bother.

Yeah I just got some LS7 Hydraulic Lifters shipped to me for a little over $100 bucks...granted they gave me 16...LOL

Realisticly? Nothing. At a perfomrance stand point anyway. I feel that the stock lifters are more than enough than we need. The only reason he bought them is.... Well i'll let him tell ya LOL

Yeah, nothing realistically to be gained in most of our setups. If you need to replace the lifters for some reason, though, they make a lot more sense than paying more for Comp.

You...I wonder why I don't hate you yet:th_winking:

It is because of my right foot...that and the fact I knew I had a bad lifter and had to replace it BUUUUUUUUUUUT...it shot craps before I could fix it because I just HAD to drive it...oh well...now I got another motor that don't work and it sits...don't care...gonna trade it in for a T/A or Terminator...FWD sucks.:th_king-evil:

Nope...no performance. I only did it because they were decently cheap, I now have a few spares if I ever need them and they work just as good if not better than stockers and aren't as clattery as the Comp ones. Yeah...and cheaper too:D
