Should I Tune now or Later?

Ok I just got an 05 Grand Prix with 19k miles on it. My buddy has an hp tuner and can tune my car. Should I go ahead and spend the money to buy the credits and have him tune the car since it has the same generic tune all GPs get at factory? I dont have the GTP so I am still limited at the moment, but I am planning to slowly begin modding and eventually top swap for a gen V. SO I guess the real question is there any gain to having him tune it now or should I wait till I start adding CAI, exhaust, etc?
 


a tune will help in a few key areas, but it wont net you any considerable power gains. it wouldnt be a bad thing for your friend just to get everythign set up so when you actually do need a good tune its all ready.
