Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

1999, GT, two door, 79,000 miles, drives great, everything is in order, was in a driver side accident but was repaired and repainted (new door), Dog bones seem bent, interior is nice, auto start cloth seats, front bumper has cracks in it but not noticeable, we got a mechanic to get it lifted up and to check it out and he said everything seemed good, aside from some rust under the car by the rocker pannels.

They want $5,500 for it i want to talk them down, but what should i try to get them down to.

man 5500 is way to much for a gt id pay like maybe 2000 id try to find a gtp u can get a decent one for 4-5000 like i only paid 1400 for my 97 gtp with full load but it has like 123000k miles

Price seems a little high to me, car looks good though. How much you trying to talk them down to?

I would say its worth $2500. The bent dogbones are trying to tell you something more about the car....

It drives soooo much better than my SE (98, 190K), I want to get it for around $3500-3000(or lower), you think they will bring it down that low? they are a small town dealer.
I want a GTP but this car is a perfect candidate for a top swap, if i get it for the right price that is.

true but why not just start with a gtp and save the trouble and i really think that since they are a small time dealer they wont go less then 4000

yeah you should get it... but not for 5500.... its not even supercharged. for that one i say tell him 2800 cash. just point out all the negatives to him, and there isnt any make up some.lol... there's no sun roof, no supercharger, has cracks in the bumper, has rust under neath, just throw negatives at em. and he'll really try to sell it for less...

yeah, i'll see how low i can get them i will start at $2,500 and see where it ends up, sound like a good plan of action?

WAY TO HIGH!!! I paid 4500 for my 1999 GTP sedan with a clean history and NO WRECKAGE! This was at the dealership I worked at but was a trade in and they were going to resale for 5500-6000... All the options but a moonroof and only 67,000 miles

Talk them WAY down, think, you have to FIX the damages to get it back to flawless condition to be worth that. Start with the problems and what it will take to fix it and work your way down. Its a beautiful car and top-swap potentials a great but thats too much for it

If the dog bones are bent...think about what else is bent and messed up on things you can't see...example...FRAME DAMAGE. I for one can 110% point out the motor mount is toasted as well...that thing leans WAY too far down and to the left.

Walk away unless he'd be willing to drop the price to 2K or lower.

Basically what I intended to say.

i wouldnt have got it anyway...my dog bones were bent every so slightly and my car got fvcked up pretty bad in the front(the bumper support was about even with the outside of the driver side tire)....those are bent waaaaaay more than what mine are which means that thing probably got hit pretty hard.
