Shocks and Struts Warranty ?

After looking around and hearing people speaking of life time warranty on "Shocks and Struts" I decided to look around. I own a 2000 Grand Prix GT 3.8L V6 ,and my Shocks and Struts are starting to go.

Under GM "GM DEALER QUICK REFERENCE CHART – REPLACEMENT PARTS WARRANTY PASSENGER CAR AND LIGHT DUTY TRUCK" states that "ACDelco Shock Absorbers/Struts and Gas Filled Lift Supports" has a lifetime warranty for private use vehicles that is effective on vehicle purchased on this date or later 4-18-97.

Can someone clear things up for me ?
 


The answer is.. we don't know what that means because typically these things are not considered lifetime. I would suggest contacting the source you got that from and maybe it's GM and they will do it.
