Shifter knob removal?

Hopefully an easy question. I picked up a performance shifter knob from Morad but I can't see how the old one comes off. Does anyone have an easy method of removal? Thanks!

theres a staple shaped clip in the front, then pull up

yea set the ebrake pull the shifter into 1 and its near the bottom of the shifters head
