Shift solenoid

Ok well last night I drove to a nearby town and when I was on my way back all of a sudden my cruise stopped working, but this was as soon as I got home so i didn't think much of it. Well this morning I get in my car and when I put it in D it acts like it is taking off in a snow gear, then I also have no OD (60MPH - about 3K RPMS) This is all accompanied by hard shifts and PO753 (I think). I have the Pressure control Solenoid replaced maybe 1.5-2K miles ago and it worked perfectly for a while

Another problem that had started to occur was, well.. ill just explain it this way. It didn't happen all the time, but most time I would be cruising around 45-50 then try to give it more gas and the tranny would cluck and stay the RPM's would go nowhere, but if I let off the gas doing the same speed then pressed back down on it it would work fine. Could this problem be caused by a solenoid on its way out?

kind of sounds like the tcc is stuck on, which when mine did it the trans fell fast. is the fluid clean red? or dirty? also my fourth gear was out and my cruise would stop working also because when the car stops accelerating due to downhill or other, the trans would shift into fourth and as soon as the cruise needed to accel it would shut off if the car coasted too long, almost like it knew something was wrong with a gear. has the transmission filter been serviced regular?

hay mike did you have to replace your trans ?? or did you just flush the trans and replace filter man??

how did you resolve your issue with no 4th and the cruise control problem..... thanks if you can PM me thatd be great

Hrmmm.... Now that I think about it I did get a code for the TCC Circuit being stuck ON once but it never happened again. It has been serviced regularly and everything is clean, the transmission fluid is red as it should be
