I just started having a problem not being able to shift my car out of park unless I press the shift release in. I have read all the posts on here with similar problems. Seams that most people agree that it is either a brake sensor not sending a signal to the btsi solenoid or the btsi it’s self. I was looking for some advice on ways I might be able to test and see which it is. My brake lights come on when pressing brake and I read that if they do it probably isn’t the sensor. Are there anyways to check the solenoid. If it is the solenoid anyone have a part number to order a new one.
