So. I replaced both axel shafts on my 2000 GTP. Now I have lots of shaking in my front end. Both axels seem to fit loose into the transaxle. I can't pull them out by hand so the keepers are in place. I've replaced several axles before and I don't remember having so much movement at the input ends.....

I'd suspect either unbalanced tires and or a bent rim.

What axles did you get. If you got them from advance they are too short and the boots are also crap. take them out return them to the store and get your money back and go get axles from somewhere else and take a tape measure with you and measure the axles before you buy them. They should be 27 inches but a bunch of the aftermarket replacments they sell are only 25 inches and only have 3 rib boots which will rip. So go get some that are 27 inches with 5 rib boots
