i did it my self, not hard at all, i know i am way behind on this but its not bad at all, you just a compression test kit, an air compressor and a spring compressor. I would suggest getting these from harbor freight. I went through 3 spring compressors, they just kept giving me new ones lol. the compression tester and air compressor are to keep the valves from dropping when you remove the retainers.
so i moved out to fairfield. where are you and what all do you have to install? I would like to teach a man to fish rather than give him a fish lol. And most likely I would not be able to do much until after the superbowl, my weekends are full right now.
How strong are the springs? I broke a new stock timing chain with 105# springs.
Also i dont trust a single shop. i only trust two other people to touch my cars besides me lol. No shop will really touch it as its a huge liability.
^^ agreed i took my gp in to get a smog and the shop tryed to make it fail a smog just to get a few bucks off me. I will never use them again. the only hard part about the install is getting the lashing perfect there is a thread on here for how tight everything should be. MAN UP and get your hands dirt or i will call you a girlly man lol
Shouldnt be too difficult. We can work out a time. Do you have a garage?
