Service vehicle

The "service vehicle soon" reading came up on my 06 gp, the check engine light isnt on though, it only reads when the key is only turned 1 notch and not when the car is on. Any idea why this happened? If I take it to autozone can they give me a code or is thag only for check engline lights

You sure it's not a service light for like an oil change??

Possible there is a code but no likely if the check engine light itself is not on.

I've had the same message pop up for the past year or so. I suspect a body electrical/BCM code to be triggering it because I don't have any powertrain or ABS codes stored. Check all your exterior lighting to rule that out, otherwise it probably needs to be scanned with a Tech-II as FordMan said.
