I've found a lot of info on this error but nothing for my specific situation. Got back from a trip to Chicago and after filling up the tank I turned the car on and all of these errors popped up. I looked up what the probable cause was and ordered two front hub assembly's that my mechanic was going to put in for me. He scanned it and said the error was "EBCM" so he didn't replace the hubs. Is it still possible that the hubs are the problem, or does that error pretty much confirm that I need to replace or repair the EBCM? The car is a 2006 GP GXP.

i get those errors whenever i hook up a Speedo that didnt come in the car lol .. Wonder if anyone can figure that out..
 
Yes, thats what you would need to read DTC's.

EBCM errors arent super common, buts its possible your took a dump, I believe module masters can repair it for a decent price a very good waranty, if that ends up being your problem.
 
also been told ebcm could be issue on my car also, but then again would it throw a u code cause it cant connect or what?
 


Well I've got my EBCM out and I will be shipping it in the morning. I have no idea why the instructions tell you to remove the "wave springs" but I will be calling them in the morning to see.
 
this is bothering me cause i had the brake light go off and was only getting a tracition light, i have a u code with ebcm, might be worth to send it out. where did you send your? cost? and did you drive around with the ebcm off?

I sent mine to CheapABS. It was around $115 including return shipping. I drove without the ECBM with no problems. It was about a week turn-around on labor day weekend.

So how is It now? Still getting codes after being rebuilt? I ask because I have same year GXP as well and I'm having same problem
