Self Amplified Sub Hookup Question. (PICS)

Hey guys, I was just wondering how to hook up this self amplified sub my neighbor is selling at their garage sale. I know it's not a quality sub, but I'm a broke college student and am just in it to learn mostly. Here is a drawing I did of what wires it has.

Do I just tie these into one of the + and - of one of the rear speakers?

Here is a Picture of the rear of my headunit. Could I use an RCA Cable from the Blue subwoofer out line to attach to the two green wires?

Also how should I power the sub? Run a wire strait from the battery? I dont want it draining the battery when I'm not using the car.

Yes I did one oF these you just need some form
Of input and for power if it is self turning on via line input I would straigt off battery and good ground. Or run a kill switch in the power wire to turn on and off.

Edit: u could use the output from subwoofer. I would cut a old RCA to make it connect to the input
