So I know there are a few threads on this but not of them match my problem exactly . The security light on my 2001 gtp is flashing on my cluster but unlike most of the other guys with this problem my car runs and drives fine . its really just annoying , can anyone tell me how to reset it .

Read the codes with a super scanner. It'll tell you what it's pissed off about. Could be that it sees one of the door sensors/trunk sensor open or it could be something to do with fuel enable signal based on the key starting to go bad.
Ya it started doing it when I was on vacation , my ac blower stopped working so I pulled what I thought was the fuse for it and put the fuse back in , and when I went to take off the security light was flashing. It seams like everyone else that has this problem have a hard time starting their cars. Mine starts fine . Where can I get a super scanner , I had autozone scan it and they came up with nothing.

Try relearning the key first.
Key to on position (not start) for 10 min.
When security light goes out.. turn to off for 10 seconds
Key back on for 10 min
Key off for 10 seconds
Key on for 10 min
Key off..
Turn and start
Key to on position (not start) for 10 min.
