Security light flashes???

Took my car to the shop to have the car serviced, got a call that the car wont start and the factory alarm was going off, really did not not know why all this was happening, never had any problems before. Then finally got the car running but since then my security light flashes and then eventually shuts off.
ANY clues on what the F is going on? Its a 2000 GTP.
All of the key less functions seem to work, you hit the lock button twice and it honks the horn and flashes the lights etc etc..
