I have a 2001 pontiac grand prix and my security light and srs air bag flashes how to take care of that problem

try your spare key.

try a passkey relearn

hookup snapon or tech2 scan tool and check for security enable

Does the car still start up and run fine? Check this thread out. http://www.grandprixforums.net/threads/103808-Security-light-flashing I never did actually find the issue. I disconnected the Theft Deterrent Module, and now the light stays off, car starts, runs, and drives fine. In my search trying to fix my issue, it is a common problem with the PK3 security system and the failure of it. The worst being if the car will not stay running because of the fuel shut off after 3 seconds.
